William B. (Bill) Hogan obtained a certificate in illustration from the School of Visual Arts, New York, New York. He was an illustrator/cartoonist for the editorial section of The Record in Hackensack, New Jersey. From 1985 to 1992 he illustrated the weekly syndicated column, A Taste of America written by Jane and Michael Stern.
